MIna tankar: Jag blev helt till mig efter att ha sett första filmen och efter att ha läst andra boken. Tredje boken var bra, men jag hade hoppats på att saker och ting skulle lösa sig på ett annat sätt. Den här boken gjorde mig besviken. Det har tagit mig lång tid att läsa den då jag lagt undan den och läst andra böcker istället, på grund av att den helt enkelt inte intresserade mig.
Det var långtråkigt i början och i mitten, sen huxflux var allt helt plötsligt slut. Det var också mycket våld - de skjuter med ett såkallat "Tranvice" vilket skjuter ut en vit stråle och för det träffade att försvinna ut i tomma intet.
Den här boken får en 5:a av mig till skillnad från den andra boken som för en 8:a. Om jag rekommenderar den eller inte beror på. Läs annat i första hand skulle jag säga. Men den handlar om det som hände innan the Maze, så jag fick reda på lite vad som hänt och hur de ansåg att Wicked och the Maze var hela befolkningens enda chans att överleva vilket var intressant.
Smakprov: "The house was packed, people everywhere, some of them holding sticks and bats and knives. But there was a clear path down the middle, leading to the front door. Mark didn't hesitate, started sprinting toward the exit, pulling Deedee along behind him.
They made it halfway before order collapsed. All of the house occupants seemed to scream at once, and their bodies swarmed in, pressing against Mark and his friends. Mark lost the hold of Deedee's hand and saw her disappear into the crowd, her sweet little cry like that of an angel among deamons."
